Bad Wednesday!

That is what I did yesterday. I didn't work on my Yuletide Sampler because I worked on it the day before for so long. I think it is turning out good. This picture is zoomed in a lot so you can see all of the detail.
Today I went across the bay for my Wednesday class. :( Which is two hours away and a three hour class so it took all day. I'm not in the mood for stitching tonight, I have a bit of a headache. I'm having a bad day.
Hopefully tomorrow will be another story. Tomorrow I only have to work at four thirty and we are going to be very slow so I will be able to stitch all day and maybe some at work and after work. I might do some school work at work so maybe just before and after work I will stitch.
Anyway I hope everyone is having a good week so far!
Happy Stitching!

Monday wasn't so bad!

I just have to show off what I did today!

The space that is skipped in the middle is three rows. The rows consists of cutting threads. Now I'm not worried about cutting the threads but I have to somehow weave them back in around the edges. So I'm going to wait til next weekend when I visit Sally at Salty Yarns. I don't want to mess it up it is turning out to be so beautiful. If I keep at this pace I will have the rest done by the weekend. I have wishful thinking.

Happy Stitching!

Happy Day Friday!

Here is Snapperbets framed! It looks so good. I had to take the picture at an angle because of the glare.
Anyway, today I went and picked my frame up and then headed to Ocean City to Salty Yarns to see Sally. I was helping Sally to add some more things to her blog. While showing her how to add things, etc. I learned a few things myself. She asked me to help her make her WIP's to link to a picture. I had no idea how to do this but figured it out after a few minutes. I added myself to her blog list so now she can visit more easily...Hi Sally! :) Unfortunately I had to hurry back for class. :( I'm going to link my WIP to pictures now so I will be back tomorrow, or maybe the next day. :)

Progress

I love these patterns! They are so fun to stitch.
I got a call today that my Snapperbets is framed and I can pick it up. Even though the framer is an hour away I NEED to go get it tomorrow. So hopefully tomorrow I will have a picture of It to share with everyone.
Happy Stitching!

New Stash

Sunday I went to Salty Yarns to look at all of the new patterns that Sally brought back from Nashville. My mom got a few new things and I bought and Acorn paper mache box pattern by Milady's. Here is the picture of the pattern and what I have completed so far.
The kit contains 40 count Pearled Barley, it is over two but still very small. I love it. If you can see the needle in the picture you can get the idea of how small it is. I also started Shepherd's Bush, Yuletide Sampler. Here is what I have completed so far.

This is the very top of the pattern and completely done. I decided to put the beads on as I go so I don't get stuck doing a hundred beads at the end. Tomorrow I hope to do a couple more rows. Unfortunately I have a class two hours away so I won't be able to stitch til tomorrow night. Uhg and I have a test Thursday so I guess I won't get much done tomorrow but I have high hopes for Thursday.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Same Ol Projects

I want to show some update pictures. I wish I had more done but I think I have made some good progress.

I'm sorry they are both horrible pictures but the lighting was very bad. I didn't take a picture of the whole Snapperbets piece but all of the border is done before the letters G and Y. The Snow_Ho_Ho piece didn't come out very well, the white that I stitched already didn't show. :( I will make sure they are better next time when I decide to update. I hope that by next week Snapperbets will be done.

Tomorrow, I go back to work at nights at the restaurant. We are only going to be open Thursday- Sundays until Easter so that is pretty good. I hope I still remember how to wait tables :).

I hope every one's week is going well!

Woohoo!

I finished all of the letters last night!! Now I have to finish the border. That is what I'm going to work on this afternoon. Now that I have gone through the first three weeks of school (which are the most stressful) and am done with my vacations I have plenty of time to stitch! Fun for me.

Hope everyone is having a great thursday!

Pictures and More Pictures!

I have been promising pictures for weeks now and I have finally uploaded them!

These were our lovely servers.

This is where we did our helmet dive. (St. Thomas)

And here are our re-modelling pictures. There are no before pictures but just picture it with all white walls and carpet.
This wall is a grayish purplish pinkish lol. When the light hits it, it changes colors I guess.

This wall is a blueish grey and we put up corner shelves. As you could probably see the other room was kind of bear but we have ordered some paintings to go on the walls.

Now back to stitching!

Superbowl Weekend

The re-modeling of the inside of the house is complete. The rooms are painted and the floors are complete!! Now I just need a couple of area rugs so I don't bust my butt on the newly varnished floors.

This weekend was the super bowl and Sally from Salty Yarns (http://www.saltyyarns.blogspot.com/) has an anual superbowl sale. I NEEDED everything. Need was the word for this weekend because I used it ALOT. I got the new Lizzy Kate Halloween double flips (the first three and fabric). I also got Shepherd's Bush, Yuletide sampler which is beautiful. AND... Elijah Dilon by Indigo rose, Catherine Strickler. If no one has seen that and they like samplers they NEED to look it up because it is awesome. If I was to take a picture of the pattern picture it would do it no justice. I also stitched with the women that come down from other states for the sale. I usually don't get sampler pieces because I'm afraid I won't be able to do the different stitches but after I have seen some of Stacy's, a stitchin friend, work it inspired me to try. Plus the pattern gives really good directions. I made a lot of progress on my Snaperbets by Bent Creek while stitching with everyone.

Now I just have to finish the Y and Z and part of the border then I can move on to my new stuff that I just bought. I hope everyone had a great weekend!
