I have realized that I'm very stingy when it comes to my cross-stitch. I want to keep everything that I stitch for my self. My brothers sister really wanted the snapperville piece that I did (pic in my first post) but I couldn't part with it because I put so much time and hard work into it. So yesterday I started a new Bent Creek piece.
I planned on giving this to my boyfriends sister because she likes country and it would go with her living room. But I really like it and I don't know if I will be able to give it to her after I'm done. I thought about stitching it twice but that seemed like a boring idea. I sware I'm not normally stingy but it is something about my stitch pieces that I can't part with. Is this normal? :(

Hmm.. you sound like me when I stitch something I really like.. I normally plan to do it for someone else, but find that i like it too much to give away! lol Two of a kind we are..!
I don't like to give away my stitching either, unless I KNOW I am doing it to give away. (like an exchange.) even then, it is hard to part with the beauties when they are finished!
I thought I was the only one! Everyone is always posting what the "gifts" they are stitching. I rarely give anything away ...they can get it when I die!
