Here is some progress that I have made on Snapperbets.Today I also went to my moms and we planned on putting our Anita's little stitches Christmas emeries together. We put them all together except the ribbon and realized we didn't have any corsage pins for the bows. Uhg! So here is a picture of them stuffed but without their topping.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I should be an interior designer :) Hehe

I haven't unloaded my pictures off of my camera onto my computer but I took a picture of my Snapperbets piece by Bent Creek on my phone. So here is the progress I have made so far.

Anyway... I started school this week. :( This will be my last full semester of classes I only have three this summer and one in the fall and I will graduate in December. The bad thing about this semester is that on Wednesdays I have to drive to Va Beach to class at Old Dominion University. I usually take satellite classes, but they don't offer a class that I needed. Well Va Beach is two hours away from where I live, so I drove two hours to school and then two hours back after my three hour class. Wheeew.. I'm wore out!

Since I have been back from my vacation me and my boyfriend have been doing some re-modeling of our house. Let me start from the beginning.... about six months ago I begged and begged for my boyfriend to let me paint the walls because every single one in the house is white. White is fine but very boring if there is nothing hanging on them. Well... on our way back from vacation he looked at me and said "Do you want to paint the house when we get back?" and I looked at him like there was a punch line. I said, "any color I want?" and he said "yep" I almost had a heart attack. I went to walmart the day after we go back and grabbed one of every paint color strips. I picked out one color for the living room and one for our dinning room, there are joined by an arch way. I picked out a pink, purple, grayish color. I know it sounds weird but there is no other way to describe it. We both decided on the second color which was a grayish blue. He got the paint the same day and now both of the rooms, and the trim have two fresh coats of paint on them. And next week the hardwood floors get sanded and re varnished. We live in a very old house that overlooks the water, it is very sturdy and in better shape them some new ones around here but the floors have not been re-done since they built the house and they had them covered with carpet!!!!! Who covers hardwood floors with carpet. When I get done the house will look like something out of a magazine. My boyfriend doesn't know what he got himself into, once he told me I could paint, he lost all control. :) He will thank me in the end hehe!

Until tomorrow,

Im Back!

I had a great time on my cruise. The coolest thing that we did was a Helmet Dive in St. Thomas. That is where they put a seventy pound helmet on you when you are walking down a twenty five foot ladder. The helmet is made so that it sinks you and there is an air hose connected to it. Your hair doesn't even get wet!! So you end up walking on the bottom of the ocean. It was AMAZING the fish were no more than a foot from you at all times. I wish I would have had an under water camera but I was just worried about breathing so I don't think that would have worked that well. We also rented a clear kayak in Nassau Bahamas. That was pretty neat as well.
As for stitching. I started Snow-Ho-Ho by Waxing Moon just got about fifty stitches on that and finished my letter F, W, and O on my Snapperbets piece. I will post pictures of them and some of my cruise in a couple days. I hope everyone had a great week. Now I have to go read the week of posts that I have missed that everyone has posted since I was gone.
Happy Stitching!

Another Vacation

I am in Baltimore for tonight and leave early in the morning for my cruise. I am so excited! I'm not sure if I will have Internet while I'm gone :( but I am bringing my laptop just in case. I hope I will so then I can post some pictures. We are going to Nassau Bahamas, St Thomas, Puerto Rico, and Dominion Republic.
On the down side, I didn't finish my last goal for this week but hopefully tomorrow when I have tons of time in airports I will get some more letters done on Snapperbets. But I did get my beads done :) Anyway...while laying by the pool I will hopefully get a good start on Snow-Ho-Ho by Waxing Moon. Wishful thinking.
If you don't hear from me in a couple of days I will be back in a week. Have a great week and happy stitching!

Please excuse the last picture it was bent over my leg. So one thing on my to do list is complete! :) When they get put together I will post pictures but that probably won't be for a couple of weeks. Now on to Snapperbets...

My weekly to do list

This week I want to complete a lot of different things. First off I will say, the restaurant I work at is closed and I do not go back to school until after my cruise which is the 17th of this month. So I'm very excited to have the whole week, well until Friday, to do anything I want. Friday I leave for my cruise and will be out of the country and won't be able to blog! Oh my what ever will I do. Anyway... This week I want to finish putting the beads on the other three ornies by Anita's Little Stitches. Yes, I completed one already (Shocked?)...

I also want to complete about three more letters of my Snapperbet piece by Bent Creek. It doesn't sound like much when I think about it but my Snapperbets is BIG, and I'm not very fond of beads.

So today I woke up at 9 to take my sister to school because my mom was at work and school was delayed. After I did that I had to go to Salisbury (nearest place to shop, an hour away) to return a couple of things. I got back around lunch time and wanted to stitch as soon as I got home. Well things changed, I got out all my stitching stuff and turned my light on and all of a sudden got a horrible head ache. So I packed it all back up and took a nap in hopes that when I woke that I would no longer have it. I woke up around three-ish and stitched til I made dinner and then again after. Overall, I made some good progress on Snapperbets. I will probably post a picture in a couple of days, I like to post pictures after I get a good amount completed.

Happy Stitching!

Where did the....

week go? Tonight was the SAT with the lets stitch group, I worked on Snapperbets by Bent Creek. Silly me.... I didn't take a picture of it before, well I THOUGHT that I already had it from the after picture of the last SAT. Well I guess I erased it when I downloaded my pictures from my vacation. So much for thinking. Anyway... I'm so disappointed in myself, I haven't wrote a post since six days ago! I love to write posts but I feel that I haven't completed anything this week uhg. Till tonight, here is my after picture.

This week I did get a little bit done. I finished the letters U and V. Then tonight I completed the F, N, and part of the W. I was proud of my progress so I stopped a half hour before 12. This weekend and week coming up, I have high hopes for my stitching abilities. I hope to get all the beads on my ornies and to complete a few more letters on my Snapperbets piece. Wish me luck because there is over a hundred beads on each one of the ornies. EEK! I think I can. I think I can. :) I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Happy stitching!
